DSCC: Global foldable screen mobile phone panel shipments hit a new high of 9.8 million units in Q2 this year, a year-on-year increase of 126%

Data show that foldable smartphone panel shipments hit a record high in the quarter, reaching 9.8 million pieces, a 151% month-on-month increase and a year-on-year increase of 126%, which is 12% higher than the highest record set in the third quarter of last year. Fenye believes that the main reason for the surge in panel shipments is that Samsung launched its latest foldable mobile phones Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 ahead of schedule, and its panel production and shipments were one month ahead of last year.
