According to the new China smartphone market quarterly tracking report released by international data company IDC, in the second quarter of 2024, China’s smartphone market shipped approximately 71.58 million units, a year-on-year increase of 8.9%. Driven by manufacturers such as vivo, HUAWEI and Xiaomi, the Android market grew by 11.1% year-on-year. At the same time, although Apple's market demand improved after a significant price cut, its iOS market shipments still fell by 3.1% year-on-year.

IDC data shows:

1. vivo ranks No. 1 in shipments in the Chinese market.
2. vivo’s retail sales topped the list in the first half of the year.
3. vivo’s multiple new products have ranked first in market share in different price segments.
4. iQOO, as a sub-brand of vivo, has a market share of 5.5%.

Huawei:

1. In the second quarter, year-on-year growth exceeded 50%, ranking second.
2. The market share in the first half of the year was 17.5%, once again becoming the leader in the smartphone market.
3. Supply capacity continues to improve, and the gap with Apple in the high-end market is gradually narrowing.

   

   1. On the other hand, OPPO ranks among the top three in the market with a market share of 15.7%. The Reno 12 series and A3 Pro perform well in their respective price segments, and the timely updates of Color OS effectively improve the user experience.
4. The 200 series, which Honor cooperates with "Yagu" Imaging, ranks second in the market share of 2,000-3,000 yuan, while the X50 series helps Honor maintain its second market share in the 1,000-2,000 yuan market.
5. Xiaomi’s domestic market shipments increased by 16.5% year-on-year. The SU7 new energy vehicle successfully attracted attention.
