As it stands, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic (curr. $349.99 on Amazon) is the largest smartwatch that Samsung sells. Although the model is available as a 43 mm smartwatch, Samsung also sells a 47 mm variant that eclipses other recent versions like the Galaxy Watch5 Pro. Although Samsung has not officially revealed any successors yet, a recent support website change has confirmed that its 47 mm sizing will return again this year.
Specifically, Samsung briefly listed the Galaxy Watch Ultra on its Carribean website, evidence of which we have embedded below. As the screenshots show, the company has now confirmed that the long-rumoured 'SM-L705' model number relates to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Additionally, the listing revealed that the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra has a 47 mm case size, as previous leaks also asserted.
Moreover, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Watch Ultra with an LTE modem. Based on other leaks, it seems that there will be a non-cellular version assigned the model number SM-L700. Currently, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is expected to start at $699, presumably for its non-cellular edition. Consequently, the model shown may launch for closer to $749, going off Bluetooth and LTE price differences for other recent Galaxy Watch smartwatches. Incidentally, other specifications for the Galaxy Watch Ultra have already surfaced before its anticipated July 10 release too, full details of which we have covered separately.
