How to install RawTherapee 5.4 in Ubuntu:

For Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 17.10, Ubuntu 18.04 and derivatives, new releases are available through this PPA repository.

1. Open Terminal via Ctrl + Alt + T or search for "Terminal" from the app launcher. When open, run the command:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dhor/myway

Enter your password when prompted (no visual feedback as you type) and press Enter to add the PPA.

2. After that, if the previous version is installed, please upgrade the software through Software Updater:

If you installed from the Ubuntu Software App, the upgrade process may be prohibited.

The workaround is to run the following command instead of installing or upgrading RawTherapee:
