BOE’s B16 factory is located in Chengdu, Sichuan. It broke ground in late March this year and aims to complete the factory construction in 2024. Production equipment will be put into operation in September 2025, and mass production of 8.6-generation OLED panels is planned in 2026.

According to data from the screen supply chain consulting company DSCC, Asia Oriental's share of the global OLED panel market in 2023 (calculated by output value) will be 12%, lagging behind Samsung (56%), but it has gradually caught up. LG Display (18%).
