At the conference, Liu Xiaojian, Vice President of Huawei Terminal BG Software Department and Executive Chairman of the OpenHarmony Project Group Working Committee, delivered an important speech. He emphasized that in the three years since OpenHarmony became open source, its version capabilities have experienced rapid iteration and significant progress, and it has achieved remarkable results in multiple dimensions such as ecological equipment, root technology, industry chain cooperation, and overall influence.

According to the editor’s understanding, OpenHarmony’s open source ecosystem is expanding rapidly. To date, more than 70 units have participated in building this ecosystem, bringing together more than 7,500 community contributors and jointly contributing more than 110 million lines of code. To date, 600 software and hardware products have successfully passed OpenHarmony's compatibility tests, which marks that it has become the fastest-growing open source operating system in the field of smart terminals.

Liu Xiaojian also mentioned that OpenHarmony is gradually transforming into a digital foundation that connects everything. Taking Huawei as an example, they have built HarmonyOS, a consumer-oriented smart terminal operating system based on OpenHarmony. At the same time, other partners have developed multiple commercial versions and products based on this open source project, all of which share a unified ecosystem of applications and services.

At the industrial policy level, many cities such as Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Huizhou, Chongqing and Nanjing have introduced policies and measures to support the development of OpenHarmony, aiming to promote its ecological construction from both supply and demand sides.

In order to promote the unity and compatibility of dynamic systems, the OpenHarmony device unified interconnection technology standard came into being. This standard was jointly developed by 15 member units of the preparatory group and covers technical specifications such as screen projection and file sharing. It aims to ensure that cross-vendor OpenHarmony devices can be interconnected, data interoperable and business interoperable. Looking forward to the future, as OpenHarmony's interconnection business continues to expand, this standard will continue to evolve, attracting more developers and enterprises to join in, and jointly promote the prosperity and progress of the OpenHarmony ecosystem.
