如果你使用Paypal,推荐你买一个DigitalOcean家的VPS来试试。

便宜，首次5美元你就可以用三个月（点DigitalOcean注册），而且平时的开发测试你也可以丢到上面去。。。

首先：在DigitalOcean上解析域名

提供ssh登录
数据库的话你用 Sequel pro直接远程管理，如果你需要的话
提供 LEMP 或 LAMP套装，自己无需另外配置

你想说国内还是国外。买虚拟主机还是VPS还是XX云?
国内传统一点又贵一点的就虚拟主机，FTP传。便宜的是像BAE，SAE那样的云，一般用Git,SVN部署。VPS的就想怎么搞怎么搞，搞过linux的应该懂。
国内一般支付宝支付，比较简单。就是备案烦死。
国外一般都VPS，同上。建议用paypel给钱，不用信用卡。一些服务商会偷偷罚钱的。

说一下我的吧，一个个人的博客类网站（window系统下的，），就是自己搞着玩的，用的香港的虚拟主机，购买域名后（不知道你的是不是goDaddy上买的），对域名解析，推荐用DNSpod，网上教程也很清楚，一步一步来就可以，解析后安装WP到空间的根目录下，然后在地址栏输入域名就可以看到页面了。

忙着学别的东西，个人网站只是搭出来了，也没好好整理。

如果什么都不知道，可以考虑用新浪的云计算平台搭建wordpress，有现成的应用打包好了。
