該信託可供符合資格的個人和機構認可投資者使用。它的運作方式與 Grayscale 的其他單一資產信託類似，但只專注於 XRP（XRP 分類帳使用的加密貨幣）作為其基礎資產。

Grayscale 產品與研究主管 Rayhaneh Sharif-Askary 強調了 XRP Ledger 的實際應用價值。

「我們相信 Grayscale XRP Trust 可以讓投資者接觸到具有重要現實世界用例的協議，」他在一份聲明中表示。「透過促進僅需幾秒鐘即可完成的跨境支付，XRP 有潛力改變傳統的金融基礎設施。」
