A project has been forked on github. How can I contribute some of my modifications to the source project?

After modifying some codes, I feel that some of the modifications are universal and suitable for open source, while other modifications are more personal and not suitable for contribution to the source, but there are no secrets and can be stored in your own project for maintenance.
How should I do this?

If you have gone through sufficient testing and feel you can submit it back to the original project, you can refer to this GitHub official tutorial: https://help.github.com/articles/creating-a-pull-request/

I also feel that git is difficult to use, and of course I haven’t bothered to study it.
