swap is memory swap space, which is used to swap some infrequently used pages to disk to free up physical memory when memory is insufficient;
What else can you do? The physical memory of your machine is too small. What can 512M do these days?
Suggestions:
1, increase the physical memory;
2, look at the mem, which is only 232M, and the utilization rate is not high, right? Then adjust the value of the /proc/sys/vm/swappiness parameter to 10 , so that the physical memory utilization can reach 90% before using swap; by default under Linux, swap will be used when the physical memory usage reaches 60%;
The adjustment method is echo '10' > /proc/sys/vm/swappiness;
3. Expand the swap space; that is, add another swap file or partition in swap format;
