find-regex() {
    # find-regex $path $pattern
    if [ $# = 0 ]; then
        echo "Usage: find-regex $path $pattern"
    else
        find "$1" -regextype posix-egrep -regex "$2"
    fi
}
 -regextype type
              Changes the regular expression syntax understood by -regex and -iregex tests which occur
              later on the command line. Currently-implemented types are emacs (this is the default),
              posix-awk, posix-basic, posix-egrep and posix-extended.

    There is no problem with the usage. The reason why you don't get the result you want may be because "" the special characters in $2 contained in double quotes may be interpreted by the shell.
