求推荐linux桌面系统好用的发行版本，笔记本使用。
目前了解的有如下版本：

1. ubuntu 官方桌面
2. kubuntu kde桌面
3. ElementaryOS 类似于mac os x桌面
4. ubuntu mate

上面几个我比较喜欢ElementaryOS ，但是有个问题就是屏幕顶部的菜单条，在打开软件全屏后，软件的菜单栏和系统顶部的菜单栏无法像ubuntu桌面那样融合成一个，看起来不舒服而且屏幕利用率不高（ubuntu mate也有类似的问题）。

kde的桌面没用过。

Ubuntu or xubuntu for desktop. If you need to develop server-side code, get an ubuntu server or centos.

For personal development, the best one is Arch, bar none
