How to make files/results downloadable in HTML

I want to make the result downloadable using a download button, I know how to make a download button but I don't know how it will make the file downloadable, do I need to link the button with a specific part of code or something?

Well I don't really know what to do, I surfed the internet but didn't get anything really useful

You can upload the information you want to download on the uploader website and use the download link to apply to the button
