Laravel: Problem using bootstrap locally

I have problems using bootstrap locally if I use bootstrap like this:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://stackpath.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/4.3.1/css/bootstrap.min.css" integrity="sha384-ggOyR0iXCbMQv3Xipma34MD+dH/1fQ784/j6cY/iJTQUOhcWr7x9JvoRxT2MZw1T" crossorigin="anonymous">

It loads very fast, but when I download bootstrap and use it locally on the public folder like this:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="{{ asset('bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css') }}" integrity="sha384-ggOyR0iXCbMQv3Xipma34MD+dH/1fQ784/j6cY/iJTQUOhcWr7x9JvoRxT2MZw1T" crossorigin="anonymous">

I received the error "Maximum execution time 60 seconds exceeded", the folder has been correctly placed in "public/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css", how to fix it?

    Try installing it using npm and compiling it using Laravel Mix. This is very easy to do.

    In your console

    npm install bootstrap
    npm update

    In your /resources/js/app.js

    import 'bootstrap';
    import 'bootstrap/dist/css/bootstrap.min.css';

    Finally, in your /resources/views/layout.blade.php

    sssccc

    Now, we can compile the script like this:

    npm run dev

    Worked for me on the first try.
