Simply put, Pagoda is a WEB server suite that integrates software tools commonly used in web services such as Apache, MySQL, PHP, Nginx, etc. It is a relatively popular WEB server panel. To put it simply, it is to facilitate the operation and maintenance of your website.
Before using the Pagoda panel, I built the website like this:
Use remote connection software such as xshell to connect to the cloud server》Manually install the PHP operating environment (LNMP_ LAMP_) or Java operating environment》》 Install WordPress" website preview, the biggest disadvantage of this is that it is time-consuming and laborious. I am likely to report an error during the installation of LNMP or LAMP or waste a lot of time during the installation. And I am not very good at managing websites deployed in LNMP and LAMP environments, such as backing up website programs, deploying and configuring SSL certificates, etc. Before I understood the Pagoda panel, I installed the PHP development environment manually. If everything goes well, I estimate it will take half a day to complete a WP website. Thinking about it later, it was not worth it. Just look for a convenient way.
After using the Pagoda panel, I built the website like this:
Use xshell and other remote connection software to connect to the cloud server》Install the Pagoda panel on the cloud server》Install WordPress on the Pagoda panel》 Website preview
Advantages: Fast speed. After I adopted the Pagoda panel, I just spent a little time learning Nginx, and then I was able to build several websites within an hour. This speed is simply amazing. Of course, this time does not include the details of installing website themes and setting website categories.
Summary: I will always use the Pagoda Panel. The reason is simple, because it saves me time and energy, why not use it.
