Time flies, this year I am 24 and I am about to turn 25. It has been more than a year since I graduated from my undergraduate degree. I recall my growth path and write it down to share with everyone.
I would like to thank my parents for giving me life, and also thank my girlfriend for not showing up during my more than 20 years, which gave me more time to study. I am also very grateful for being willing to accept me. company and colleagues.
I came to Guangzhou to work hard on June 15, 2017. I worked in a small company with a total size of 20 people. I was the only one with PHP. The trial period was 4080RMB for one month. Company, the salary is 5000RMB to become a full-timer. Now I just switched to a game company with about 500 people. The trial is 12k, and the full-time is 13k/month. Three meals are included. The daily
job is data reports and statistics. Yes, it is a big company. There are only so many things you have to do, and you are using thinkphp3.2. It feels like a PHPer can do it, as long as you understand the business logic.
Without further ado, let me tell you about my growth path. In short, in one sentence: As long as you can’t die from learning, learn from death. There is no end to learning! ! ! . When I just graduated, I came to a small company with enthusiasm, hereafter referred to as Company A, because I was the only PHPer in the company, and I worked hard and diligently. However, what I never expected was that the company asked me to transform and become a C# programmer. I was confused at that time. My PHP skills were half-full, so why did they ask me to learn C#? But at that time, I was tempted by my boss, so I honestly studied C# and switched from PHP to C#. To be honest, , it is really difficult to learn. When I think about it now, I don’t even know how I learned it. I just remember that in the first month of learning, I automatically worked overtime until 9.30 every day, then went home from get off work to watch learning videos, and took study notes until about 12.30 in the morning.
But even though I was like this, my boss was not optimistic about me, saying that I couldn’t keep up with those senior chefs with 4-5 years of work experience. I didn’t say anything at the time, I just studied hard and tried not to hold back, God. There was an unexpected situation, C# has been going downhill, the company began to lay off employees, all of us small employees were laid off, I don't blame the boss, after all, the company does not support idle people. then
I have to prepare for the interview. Although I have studied C# for nearly half a year, even so, I can't resist my love for PHP. After all, PHP is the best language in the world. Next, I will work part-time while using my free time. I study on weekends. There are no weekends. I use weekends to learn PHP. I have basically gone through all the videos on the PHP Chinese website (mainly) because I entered the teacher’s studio when I was in school, so I started learning. Soon, I typed the source code according to the video, built my own VM according to the video, learned liunx, learned mysql, learned nosql, and learned high concurrency. It took about a month to prepare. I also worked on a few small projects, and then came the interviews. Because the investments were basically in large companies, so the interviews were basically held in large companies. The interview process of large companies: 1: Front desk personnel First, understand the basic situation, general work experience, study, etc. Two: Prepare for the technical interview. I was interviewed by two people, a manager and a PHP team leader (luckily) Three: Technical director interview, I passed the general technical interview, and the director met in depth A few questions, but I don’t ask a lot of questions. Four: HR negotiated salary and made offers. I interviewed 4 companies and received two offers. I was very happy that I came from more than 20 people. After I entered, I found out that they only wanted me. (Proud), I cherish this job very much, not only because it has given me an improvement in salary, but also because it is a step forward in my growth. As a result, I
have become more motivated in my studies.
Finally: I wish everyone can find their favorite job! Everyone is welcome to discuss technology.
Stealing other people’s pictures: It’s good, it depends on your situation! ! !
