I opened hosts and edited them and saved them to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc Hosts. After I opened them again, there was still no change to the original ones. Can anyone help me?

This is how I open hosts

127.0.0.1 localhost

After editing

127.0.0.1 localhost

127.0.0.1 www .demo.com

After saving to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc Hosts, opening it again is still the same as before.

127.0.0.1 localhost

I don’t know the reason. Can anyone help?

Mine is also blank. Blank file domain name resolution is useless and annoying. It’s a numbing piece of junk software. The official doesn’t even explain how to fix it. I’ll fuck you up a hundred thousand times.

It is recommended to use switch hosts to manage hosts

I found the reason. There is a problem with my local hosts. Just download a replacement online

It is caused by the permission problem of C drive. You can first copy the hsot file of C drive to the desktop, edit it, and then copy it to the specific etc directory of C drive and replace it
