After testing, there is no problem on the new version of Chrome. I am not sure about the compatibility with other browsers. Current coding practice still removes the final comma.

Isn’t it just a direct test? No errors will occur in Safari(5.1.7), FF(52.0.2), IE(9+), Opera(43.0.2442.1144)
