There is also a reference, which is in English, you can refer to it.
There is a git channel on freenode. If you have any questions, you can ask there.
The authoritative guide to git (written by Jiang Xin) and pro git. I think it is better for beginners to read pro git. It can be used after reading a few commonly encountered situations. If you encounter it, you will not come back to check it again, or directly use freenode on irc. Just ask.
