dedecms and discuz are both old projects and haven’t been used for a long time. In my impression, both frameworks are based on MVC architecture. There is nothing too complicated. You just need to read the entry file. At most, you can look at the automatic loading mechanism, hook, session mechanism, etc. The rest of the routines are similar.
