V9 introduces the portal-level site group function, so the site management here is closely integrated with the system site group system. The following information introduces relevant knowledge about site groups and site management.
What is a station group?
The so-called website group refers to a collection of websites that are based on unified standards and a unified technical architecture, with hierarchical management, hierarchical maintenance, and low coupling. Information can be shared and presented based on specific permissions. It does not mean that many websites are gathered together to be called a site group. It must be: unification, hierarchical management, information sharing, and single sign-on. The website group has achieved unified technical standards, can be interconnected, implement cluster management, and have relatively consistent website operation and service specifications.
V9 took the lead in introducing the site group system used only by large portals into an open source system. This achieves the multi-site, independent management functions of a set of CMS V9 systems, with the characteristics of low upgrade cost, simple deployment, and convenient management. And for security control, V9 ensures that the permissions of each site are independent of each other and the operations do not affect each other. It is widely suitable for large-scale multi-site websites, institutional multi-site applications and other demand fields.
The V9 system supports multi-site publishing. You can select a publishing point when adding a site, and you can select site templates, upload attachment settings and other options.
Administrators can switch between different sites and manage the content of each site.
