Chapter 1 General Provisions

    • ##Article 2

      The third-party partners referred to in this Convention (hereinafter also referred to as "third parties" or "developers") refer to third parties that cooperate in accessing applications or websites on the Weibo open platform and provide services to individuals or enterprises. Developers are divided into micro-connection partners and micro-service partners. Micro-connection partners refer to enterprises or individuals that provide products and services to ordinary users based on the Weibo open platform micro-connection service; micro-service partners refer to those based on the Weibo open platform interface. and Tongtong to serve enterprises and corporate partners with Weibo accounts.

Chapter 2 Developer Code of Conduct

    • Article 3

      The applications and services submitted by developers on the Weibo open platform must not contain any content that violates national laws, regulations, policies and regulations.

    • Article 4

      Developers must abide by the privacy protection terms of the Weibo open platform and promise to protect users equally with Weibo Privacy Responsibility. The developer's collection and use of users' personal information must obtain the user's legal authorization. Without the user's permission, the user's personal information and other data may not be disclosed to any third party or used for purposes beyond the scope of authorization.

    • Article 5

      All data and resources provided by the Weibo open platform are only used by developers to access applications or websites. The developer shall not disclose the above information and resources to any third party without the written consent of the Weibo Open Platform. Otherwise, the Weibo Open Platform has the right to terminate the cooperation at any time and pursue the developer for compensation. responsibility.

      Developers shall not harass users by any means such as misleading, confusing, or cheating.

    • Article 7All developers’ actions on the open platform must comply with the “Weibo Open Platform Developer Agreement” and the “Weibo Open Platform Application Operation Management” Specifications" and all agreements, conventions and systems on the Weibo platform shall not infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of any organization or individual.

Chapter 3 Business Scope

    • Article 8 Weibo and developers work together to improve and enrich the functions of the Weibo platform and provide users with better experiences and services.

    • Article 9Weibo will focus on Weibo’s core functions, basic platform services and key products (including but not limited to accounts, Relationships, message flow, search, payment, advertising system, application framework, geographical location, photo album, micro bar, micro magazine) will not be open to external third parties.

    • Article 10 Weibo will establish a sub-platform with the characteristics of managing third parties (including but not limited to micro-games, micro-tasks, Micro-activities), self-owned or exclusively authorized management sub-platform, while allowing access to third-party content or products.

    • Article 11For industries that have legal risks and require supervision (including micro lotteries and micro trading), Weibo will Exclusive licensing cooperation.

    • Article 12For product types not covered above, Weibo fully opens the following businesses to developers, and encourages developers to accept to enter related applications and services, while promising not to engage in exclusive cooperation. Particularly encourage content-contributing applications and applications with high user activity to access:

            • (1) User-oriented Applications: Applications that can enrich the functions of the Weibo platform based on four types of cooperation: PC applications (non-games), mobile applications (non-games), games, and websites. Application types include but are not limited to: entertainment and leisure, life services, community dating, News, tools, etc.
            • (2) Enterprise-oriented applications and services: including but not limited to applications for the front-end display of corporate official Weibo; applications for the back-end of corporate official Weibo, such as: public opinion analysis (only for enterprise-level public opinion analysis , does not accept government public opinion monitoring or application access applications related to it), social management tools, CRM, data analysis, etc.; agency operation services based on Weibo online marketing, advertising optimization, etc.

Chapter 4 Developers’ Rights

    • Chapter Article 14For all developers of the Weibo open platform, the open platform will follow the principles of equality and fairness and provide developers with necessary resources for development, such as data interfaces, technical documents, customer service support, etc.

    • Article 15For micro-connection partners of the Weibo open platform, the platform provides a complete set of hierarchical growth plans. Micro-connection partners are divided into different levels based on their qualifications and performance on the platform. Partners at different levels will enjoy different rights and interests in terms of operational support, product promotion, etc., aiming to help developers grow healthily on the Weibo open platform.     • Article 16In order to satisfy developers to better promote their applications on Weibo platform, Weibo Open Platform provides developers with Corresponding user access channels and business promotion channels are provided.     • Article 17All microservice partners must follow the relevant rules of the open platform, and outstanding partners will have the opportunity to participate In the partner selection program, after passing the selection program certification, you can get Weibo Open Platform official public relations support, operational resource support and other rights and interests.     • Article 18Weibo related data can be divided into the following three categories. The platform encourages data exchange after account interoperability. Third parties can obtain data based on actual conditions:

            • (1) User data: Third parties can Obtain the user's public information through user authorization.
            • (2) Third-party data: Third parties can obtain data generated by users on Weibo through applications.
            • (3) Weibo operation data: Third parties can obtain Weibo operation data through business cooperation or paid commercial data interfaces.

Chapter 5 Obligations of Developers

    • Article 21In order to improve the operation quality and user satisfaction of third-party applications, standardize developer behavior, and promote the common growth of the platform and developers, the platform has formulated the "Weibo Open Platform Application Operation Management Standards" and "Weibo Open Platform Micro-Connect Partner Credit Score Rules" clarify the reward and punishment mechanisms to promote the healthy growth of the platform ecosystem.

##Chapter 6 Supplementary Provisions

    • Article 22The Weibo Open Platform will continuously improve this convention by listening to the needs of developers and users based on Weibo’s overall strategy at different stages. Once the content of this Convention changes, the Open Platform will directly publish the revised Convention content on the website. This announcement is deemed to have informed the developer of the revised content by the Open Platform. The open platform can also prompt developers to modify content through other appropriate methods.

    • Article 23This Convention shall come into effect on October 1, 2013.
