node.js - child_process.execSync 返回值不为零时不要抛出错误

我需要实现一个判断编译是否通过的程序。然后就写了下面的代码。

var execSync = require('child_process').execSync;
var fs = require('fs');

var cmd = 'g++ program.cpp -o program -O2';
console.log(cmd);
execSync(cmd);
if (! (fs.existsSync('program')))
  console.log('Compile Fail');
else
  console.log('Compile Success');

如果编译成功是没有问题的，但是编译失败的话，execSync会抛出一个错误，官网也有这样的说明：

If the process times out, or has a non-zero exit code, this method will throw. The Error object will contain the entire result from child_process.spawnSync

但是我不想它抛出错误，而是继续执行console.log('Compile Fail');这一语句，应该怎么办？？

exec(cmd,function(err){
if(err) throw err
})

同步方式：

try { execSync(cmd); } catch (ex) { }
