News from this site on April 22. This site learned from the official public account of China Nuclear Power that on April 20, on the plateau and mountains of Sakya County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, a nuclear power plant invested by CNNC Huineng Tibet Company and CNNC 22 The first wind turbine of China National Nuclear Corporation's Sakya 300,000-kilowatt wind-solar-storage integrated wind farm project, China National Nuclear Corporation's first wind power project in Tibet, was completed. This A25 wind turbine, with a base altitude of 4,987 meters and a total altitude of 5,092 meters, has become another eye-catching new green energy landmark on the snowy plateau. According to calculations, the highest altitude of the wind farm area reaches 5,193 meters. It is currently the wind power project with the highest altitude and the largest single capacity under construction in the world.

The project is located at the northern foothills of the Himalayas, only about 140 kilometers away from Mount Everest. The total installed capacity is 300MW, of which the total installed wind power capacity is 200MW, with a total of 40 wind turbines installed, with a single unit capacity of 5MW. A single wind turbine has a rotor diameter of 183 meters, a blade length of 90.1 meters, a hub height of 105 meters, and a total weight of 483.9 tons. Under normal operation, a single wind turbine blade can produce about 3 kilowatt hours of electricity per rotation, which can be generated every hour of rotation. The power capacity is 5,000 kilowatt-hours, which can meet the electricity needs of four ordinary families for one year.

After the project is completed, the annual power generation will be nearly 600 million kWh, which is equivalent to saving about 164,200 tons of standard coal every year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 453,400 tons, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 450,100 tons, effectively promoting local High-quality economic and social development.
