1. Change the accuracy after drawing and measuring the data
For example, we draw a right triangle as shown in the figure, and know the height of the triangle through measurement. Now the accuracy is 1%, so what should we do? Operation, the accuracy is one thousandth? The specific operation is as follows:
Step 1 Select the [Move Arrow Tool] on the left, select the height of the triangle to be measured, right-click the mouse, and select the [Properties] item in the pop-up shortcut menu, as shown in the figure shown.
Step 2 At this time, the properties dialog box for the measurement value will pop up. Select the value label item and adjust the accuracy to one thousandth. The operation is as shown in the figure.
Step 3 After the above operations, the high accuracy of the measured triangle becomes one thousandth of an accuracy, which meets the requirements we need. For details, please refer to the following picture.
If you need to set the measurement accuracy before drawing, the above method is not applicable. You can operate according to the following method.
2. Pre-set the precise measurement value before drawing
Step 1: Open the geometric sketchpad and execute the [Edit] - [Parameter Options] command, so that you can open the [Parameter Options Dialog Box] .
Step 2 In the parameter options dialog box that pops up, change the unit and accuracy according to your needs. For example, change the unit of angle to degrees, the unit of distance to centimeters, and the accuracy to thousands. One part, as shown in the picture.
