php Editor Strawberry introduces how to use the home key to open the smart door lock on the iPhone. No need to bring a key, which is more convenient and safer. Intelligent functions such as remote unlocking and one-touch door locking can be realized through the mobile APP, making life more convenient and intelligent.
Home App can currently add some supported door locks as home keys, and you can open the smart door locks at home just through your iPhone.
How to add a supported door lock in the Home App? The operation method is as follows:
1. Open the "Home" App. If it is opened for the first time, the setup assistant will help you create a home where you can add accessories and define rooms. If you have already created a home when setting up other accessories, you can skip this step.
2. Before adding accessories, please ensure that the accessories are connected to the power supply, turned on and connected to the network.
3. Tap "Home" in the lower left corner, then tap "Add Accessories".
Alternatively, tap the Add button at the top of the screen and choose Add Accessory.
If the Matter accessory you’re pairing has been paired with another app before, tap the More option, then select the accessory. Open the accessory's app and generate a pairing code, which will be used to pair it with the Home app.
You may need to scan the QR code and enter the 8-digit HomeKit setup code found on the accessory itself (or on the accessory box or manual), or an 11- or 21-digit code for Matter-enabled accessories.
No matter which app you use to set up Matter accessories, paired accessories are synced across devices via iCloud Keychain and stored in the Settings app. Previously paired accessories stored in Keychain can be easily added to another Matter ecosystem app.
