The cross-licensing agreement between the two parties also reflects the contribution of Chinese enterprises to each other's standards in the communications field. According to reports, ZTE’s R&D investment in the first three quarters of 2023 reached 19.06 billion yuan, accounting for 21.3% of revenue. , has applied for more than 89,500 global patents.
