According to the latest market report released by Ming-Chi Kuo today, the demand for Apple’s Vision Pro headset in the US market has slowed significantly, but the shipping time has now improved to 3-5 days.
Ming-Chi Kuo believes that his previous prediction that "Vision Pro headset sales were good at the first launch but lacked stamina" was correct:
When it was first launched, users showed great enthusiasm for this headset. There is huge interest, but now market demand has dropped sharply and there are no signs of improvement. Unless the price of the headset is reduced or more attractive applications are launched, the headset's sales growth in the U.S. market will be limited.
In terms of return rate, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, an investigation found that the return rate of related headsets was 1%. Among users who returned products, 20%-30% said they did not know how to set up Vision Pro (note from this site: unable to complete the initial OOBE activation steps).
Looking to the future, Kuo Ming-chi believes that Apple is likely to launch this headset outside the US market before WWDC this year. This year Vision Pro headset shipments in the US market are expected to reach 200,000-250,000 units.
The above is the detailed content of Ming-Chi Kuo: Demand for Apple Vision Pro has slowed significantly in the United States, and the headset is expected to be launched in more markets before WWDC. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!
