Windows 11 is transitioning from Windows Speech Recognition (WSR) to Voice Access. WSR is being deprecated. When you open WSR, a dialog box will pop up instructing you to try voice access. Voice Access is a new assistive technology in Windows 11 that uses on-device speech recognition to control your PC and write text without an Internet connection.
