News on February 6, the latest report from market research company OpenSignal shows that South Korea has become the leader in mobile communication speed among major countries in the Asia-Pacific region, and its 5G technology is also the fastest in the world.

Judging from the average 5G download speed, South Korea has become the fastest country in the world at 436.7Mbps, followed by Malaysia (337.7 Mbps), Singapore (292.9 Mbps) and India (280.7 Mbps).

Prior to this, data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that the average download rate of files for 5G mobile phone users in my country exceeded 144Mbps.

This report also shows that from October to December last year, South Korea’s mobile download speed reached 140.2 Mbps, ranking first among 25 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, and Singapore was the second-fastest country in the region. The speed reaches 71.1 Mbps, which is almost half that of South Korea.

India is 51.5 Mbps and mainland China is 50.5 Mbps. Japan ranked eighth in Asia with 46.7 Mbps, a drop of 1.2 Mbps.

In terms of speed improvement, India has achieved amazing growth in 5G adoption, with speeds increasing by two times, while in Europe, Norway (102.3 Mbps), Denmark (98.8 Mbps), and the Netherlands (81.7 Mbps) ) and Finland (71.6 Mbps) have the highest communication speeds.
