Apple’s official recently updated support document mentions new features about the Vision Pro headset battery. It is said that when the user does not use the headset for an extended period of time, the external battery will continue to provide power for up to 24 hours to ensure that the device can continue to synchronize important content, such as emails and photos. However, if the user does not use the Vision Pro headset within the next 24 hours, the battery will automatically disconnect to save energy. This feature is designed to provide better battery management and energy conservation.

#Apple’s official documentation details how to check the power status of the Vision Pro headset when not being worn. The user only needs to gently shake the device, and the indicator light on the power cord will light up briefly if it is powered on; if the device is turned off, the indicator light will remain off. Users can press and hold the top button for three seconds to restart the device, which takes about a minute. The device will beep and light up to indicate it is ready for use.

Apple explains in detail the colors and meanings of the battery indicator light. When the battery is connected to a power source or charged for the first time, the indicator light will display different colors to reflect the battery's charge level. If the light is green for a few seconds, the battery is fully charged. If the indicator light is amber for a few seconds, it means that although the battery power is less than 100%, it is still sufficient to support the use of Apple Vision Pro. If the light is blinking amber slowly, it means the battery is too low to power the headset. At this point, users need to continue charging for at least 10 minutes, or until the indicator light shows solid amber when the battery is tapped.
