We plan to turn on Windows Spotlight on desktop by default for users who use the built-in default desktop background after upgrading. We'll be piloting this new experience with a select group of Insiders first.

[File Explorer]

Fixed some issues that affected the stability of File Explorer.

Fixed an underlying issue that caused the File Explorer window to freeze for OneDrive users.

If there are a lot of images in the gallery to load, it will now show a loading status instead of implying that the gallery is empty while loading.

Note: Some fixes mentioned in Insider Preview builds in the Dev Channel may make their way into servicing updates for released versions of Windows 11.

[Copilot in Windows*]

Some Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel in Global Markets (using Copilot in Windows* preview version of Windows 11 Insider Preview Home Edition) may notice that in Windows Copilot has disappeared from the taskbar. We are working to resolve this issue in a future release.

After first launching Copilot when using Voice Access or refreshing Copilot in Windows, you need to use the Show Grid command to first click the Ask Me Any Questions box.
