It is reported that this modern factory is expected to be officially put into production this year, and its initial annual production capacity will reach 120,000 vehicles.

This factory will become an important fulcrum of Dongfeng Honda’s electrification strategy and be responsible for the production of the new e:N series of electrified models. Prior to this, the factory's assembly workshop had been fully connected, and the first e:NS1 electric model had successfully rolled off the assembly line. In terms of environmental protection, the new factory has also made active efforts. The factory will build photovoltaic power generation devices and use automobile wastewater treatment technology to minimize the emission of VOC and other atmospheric pollutants and achieve green and low-carbon production.

Looking to the future, Dongfeng Honda plans to launch three pure electric products on the market this year, including e:NS2, Lingxi L, and SUV Series. By 2025, the proportion of Dongfeng Honda's electrified products is expected to exceed 50%. In 2027, the company plans to stop launching new fuel vehicles and fully shift to electrification. By 2030, Dongfeng Honda will have launched more than 10 pure electric models, further accelerating the company's electrification process.
