Tmall Elf Cloud access service upgrade: free developer charges

According to news from this site on January 9, Tmall Elf recently released an announcement on the upgrade of Yunyun access service. The upgraded Yunyun access service will change from free mode to paid starting from January 1st.

This site is attached with new features and optimizations:

• Optimizing Cloud Protocol, improve the stability of device connections; optimize voice control of key categories;

• Account authorization upgrade: Add the display of developer third-party apps in Tmall Genie function to help users bind accounts faster and more conveniently. At the same time, new developer third-party App account authorization supports one-click binding of Tmall Elf accounts;

• New terminal Screen display interaction capability, in addition to voice interaction, users can control the device and obtain device status through the app and screen speakers;

• Added intelligent scene linkage capability, the attributes and events of the newly created product can be reported as status or events, and define the trigger conditions of Tmall Genie intelligent scene.

For newly applied developers, Tmall Genie will provide different paid service plans based on the developer’s device access needs.

For developers who have already used Yunyun access services, Tmall Elf provides a transition period (May 5 to December 31, 2023). After the transition period, developers can use different access services to Join the plan and choose the payment method flexibly.

It is worth mentioning that Yiweilian announced that it will provide account association services with Tmall Elf1-month free trial period, from January 1 to January 31, 2024 day.

Starting from February 1, 2024, the account-related services with Tmall Elf will only be available to EweLink Premium Members.
