Microsoft today released the Win11 Build 23435 preview update for Windows Insider project members in the Dev channel.
Attached is the main update content of Win11 Build 23435 preview version as follows:
Microsoft has introduced a new gallery feature in the file manager, allowing users to easily access album content. The content displayed in the Gallery is the same as All Photos in the Photos app.
Gallery mainly optimizes the photos recently taken by users. If the user has enabled the OneDrive Camera Roll Backup feature, photos taken by the user will automatically appear at the top of the view.
Users can filter folders on the gallery page through the Collection drop-down menu. Users can also add paths such as desktop background, SD card import, etc. to import new content.
[General]
Microsoft continues to explore the content (badging) on the Start menu, providing a variety of new ways for users to log in with a local user account , highlighting the benefits of signing in with a Microsoft Account (MSA).
[File Manager]
Microsoft invites Windows Insiders to experience the "pizza" icon on the File Manager command bar. This icon indicates that Insiders are previewing the Windows App SDK version of File Explorer.
The functionality in File Explorer remains the same, it just switches from using WinUI 2 to using WinUI 3.
[Narrator]
Users using the Narrator function can "read" Traditional Chinese. This is achieved by creating a Traditional Chinese dictionary for detailed reading. Narrator now uses a dictionary to disambiguate each Traditional Chinese word.
[Settings]
Introducing new presence sensor privacy settings and API. If your device has compatible presence sensors, you can now manage privacy and block/allow certain apps from accessing those sensors.
Microsoft promises not to collect any images or metadata, and all processing is done locally on the device hardware to maximize privacy. If supported by the device, users can find these settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Presence.
