The "White Paper" shows that in Q2 this year, my country's VR/AR headset shipments totaled 156,000 units (including 110,000 VR units and 46,000 AR units), a decrease of 49.51% compared with the same period last year. IT House noticed that in Q2 2022, my country’s VR shipments will be 297,000 units and AR shipments will be 12,000 units.

Overall, China’s virtual reality (VR) equipment will be in a situation of oversupply in the short term, mainly because there are still deficiencies in the domestic VR hardware content ecology. According to survey data from Perkins Coi, among the factors that will affect users' use of VR in 2021, 27% of users believe that the current VR-related content is of low quality, limited in quantity, and not very accessible, and phenomenal content is even rarer.

In addition, at the opening ceremony, Zhao Qinping, honorary chairman of the Virtual Reality Industry Alliance and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, released the list of "China's Top 50 VR Companies in 2023". This is the fifth consecutive time that the Virtual Reality Industry Alliance has released this list.
