Indeed, the world’s leading job site and recruiting platform, has released the Indeed Artificial Intelligence Jobs Report, which takes a deep dive into the impact of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) on jobs and the skills required to perform them. The study, led by the Indeed Recruiting Lab, a global team of economists, found that all U.S. jobs on Indeed, from truck drivers to software engineers, have skills that GenAI can complete or enhance. However, only one in five (19.8%) jobs are considered "highly" exposed to GenAI, suggesting that while the technology can get the job done in specific jobs, GenAI is unlikely to completely replace many jobs.

Artificial Intelligence Jobs Report finds GenAI will impact nearly every job in the U.S.

#The Indeed Artificial Intelligence Jobs Report analyzed more than 55 million job postings and 2,600 job skills on Indeed’s platform to determine the level of GenAI relevance in the workplace (low/medium). /High) and the skills required to perform these jobs. A position is considered highly relevant if 80% or more of the skills GenAI mentions in the job posting are considered "good" or "excellent." If performance is "good" or "excellent" in 50% to below 80% of skills, the job will face moderate relevance. If GenAI proficiency is below 50%, the job is considered low relevance.

Software development jobs face the highest potential “risk”, with GenAI’s “good” or “excellent” skills accounting for 95% of the job postings mentioned. Driving jobs such as truck and taxi driving pose the lowest potential risks, with GenAI proficient in less than a third (29%) of the skills listed above. Retail jobs are somewhere in the middle, with GenAI’s effectiveness rate of 57.6%.

Other key findings from the report:

Artificial Intelligence Jobs Report finds GenAI will impact nearly every job in the U.S.#19.8% of jobs on Indeed are highly related to other jobs. This means that 80% or more of the skills mentioned in "Indeed" job postings are considered good or excellent

45.7% of the jobs are moderately relevant, meaning GenAI can Responsible for less than 50% to 80% of the work

34.6% of the work is low-relevant/minimally relevant, which means that GenAI can only complete less than 50% of the skills. What needs to be rewritten is: 34.6% of jobs are low/minimum relevant, which means GenAI can only complete less than 50% of the skills

Software development jobs are most potentially affected by GenAI enhancements. 95% of skills considered "good" or "excellent" in software development jobs include technical and business operations skills

Driving jobs (such as truck and taxi driver) has minimal potential impact on GenAI.

Only 29% of GenAI’s skills in driving jobs were rated “good” or “excellent.” It excels at language and communication skills, but is relatively poor at vehicle operation skills

While GenAI is relatively good at technical skills and jobs, it has problems requiring intuition, reasoning and/ or much lower proficiency in hands-on skills and work.

The jobs with the least likelihood of exposure to GenAI, including driving, cleaning and hygiene, and beauty and wellness jobs, are also the ones with the lowest ability to work remotely. The higher the likelihood that a job can be completed remotely, the greater its opportunity for potential GenAI-driven change.

Indeed, Chief Economist Svenja Gudell said: "There is no doubt that GenAI is a powerful leap in technology that will impact all jobs, especially those in the technology industry, and the labor market as a whole." "Our research suggests that GenAI is unlikely to replace entire jobs, but rather serve as a tool to augment or streamline parts of jobs. Going forward, we may see employers redesign and reimagine a variety of jobs , including the creation of new jobs over time due to GenAI’s rapidly growing impact.”

Indeed Recruiting Labs also publishes the Indeed, Artificial Intelligence Job Tracker, The report shows the share of artificial intelligence jobs among all hiring on Indeed on a monthly basis by country and career sector.

mPDF is a PHP library that can generate PDF files from UTF-8 encoded HTML. The original author, Ian Back, wrote mPDF to output PDF files "on the fly" from his website and handle different languages. It is slower than original scripts like HTML2FPDF and produces larger files when using Unicode fonts, but supports CSS styles etc. and has a lot of enhancements. Supports almost all languages, including RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) and CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Supports nested block-level elements (such as P, DIV),
