Shandong Yuanshi Industrial Innovation and Development Alliance was unveiled

The meeting was held in a combination of online and offline methods, with more than 170 alliance member units from inside and outside the province participating. The meeting elected Goertek Co., Ltd. as the chairman of the first alliance council, and the School of Computer Science and Technology of Shandong University as the chairman. As the executive chairman, 9 units including Inspur Technology and Qilu Yidian serve as vice chairman, and 49 units including Shandong Jiaodong Supply Chain Management Services Co., Ltd. serve as alliance directors.

Cheng Xiuzhen, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology of Shandong University, spoke on behalf of the chairman unit. She said that as a member of the alliance, the School of Computer Science and Technology of Shandong University has the responsibility and obligation to take the lead in making breakthroughs in core technologies, strengthen the construction of metaverse scenarios, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the metaverse ecology in our province. She also said that the alliance will focus on building a communication platform, innovating cooperation mechanisms and strengthening industry-university-research collaboration.
