安装后期的设置和测试1. 初始化授权表
./scripts/mysql_install_db
mysql_install_db在mysql数据库里创建6个表(user,db,host,tables,priv,columns,priv和func)初始权限.这些权限允许MySQL root用户做任何事并允许任何人建立或使用一个名字以'test'或'test_'开始的数据库.
mysql_install_db仅在第一次安装MySQL时需要运行,若升级安装,可以跳过这一步.
2. 启动mysql服务器
cd mysql_installation_directory
bin/safe_mysqld &
3. 使用mysqladmin证实服务器正在运行
mysqladmin version
mysqladmin variables
4. 关掉服务器
BINDIR/mysqladmin -u root shutdown
5. 运行一些简单的测试证实服务器正在工作
BINDIR/mysqlshow
BINDIR/mysqlshow 表名
基本操作
1. 连接与断开服务者
mysql -h host -u user -p
Enter password:******
若成功则出现 mysql> 提示符
在mysql>提示符下,输入help,显示帮助信; 输入quit退出连接.
2. 创建并使用一个数据库
mysql> CREATE DATABASE tmpDB;
创建数据库tmpDB
mysql> USE tmpDB; 或者 shell> mysql -h host -u user -p tmpDB;
将数据库tmpDB指定为当前的数据库
mysql> SHOW TABLES; 显示当前数据库中的数据表
mysql> CREATE TABLE student (name VARCHAR(20),sex CHAR(1),birth DATE); 创建表student;
mysql> DESCRIBE student; 查看表student的表结构
mysql> INSERT INTO student VALUES('Rose','f','1990-03-02'); 在表student中插入一条记录
mysql> select * from student; 检索表中的所有记录;
