In order to support emergency repair and disaster relief work and quickly restore communications, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology made emergency dispatches and ZTE immediately dispatched drones carrying high-altitude base stations of three major operators. Under the coordination and deployment of the Beijing Municipal Communications Administration Bureau, drones provided emergency communication support for the areas surrounding Wangping Town and Tanzhesi Town

In order to speed up the communication recovery in key disaster-stricken towns in Mentougou, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized close cooperation with Beijing Municipal Communications Administration, Jiangxi Provincial Communications Administration, ZTE, the three major operators and China Satcom. They conducted joint debugging tests on the drone equipment and satellite links overnight, and dispatched professionals for on-site operation and maintenance to ensure the drone took off safely and smoothly. At present, the drone flies stably in the specified area according to the requirements, covering an area of ​​nearly 80 square kilometers, continuously providing 5G signal coverage for 6 hours, and providing voice, SMS and Internet services to about 2,400 users, effectively meeting the local flood prevention and relief command Communication needs to support the restoration of basic public communication capabilities
