Jordi Ribas, head of engineering and product for Bing at Microsoft, recently announced that dark mode will be available to all Bing Chat and Bing Search users in the next few days
In a subsequent tweet, Ribas said that desktop Bing users can enable dark mode by opening the Bing.com website and clicking on the hamburger menu in the upper right corner. Users can go into the "Appearance Settings" option and select the "Dark" option
Microsoft has allowed users to have Bing Chat with Google Chrome and Apple Safari browsers by visiting the Bing.com website
However, there are some limitations when using Bing Chat on Chrome and Safari browsers. For example, the text entered by the user cannot exceed 2000 characters, while on Microsoft's own Edge browser, this limit is 4000 characters
In addition, users will be limited to five conversations with the chatbot instead of 30, and will receive pop-ups reminding them to download the Edge browser
