(Global TMT June 8, 2023) IBM Consulting announced the establishment of a Center of Excellence dedicated to generative artificial intelligence services. The center will work with 21,000 consultants in the fields of data and artificial intelligence IBM Consulting, which has completed more than 40,000 enterprise customer-related projects, collaborates closely with existing artificial intelligence and automation services global teams. The new center of excellence has more than 1,000 consultants with expertise in generative artificial intelligence who will work with clients around the world to help them improve productivity in core business processes such as IT operations, human resources or marketing, improve customer experience, and innovate their business model. In 2023 alone, IBM Consulting interacted with more than 100 clients and completed dozens of collaborative projects that blended generative AI and classic machine learning AI strategies.
The Center of Excellence will apply a complete generative artificial intelligence technology stack, including basic models and more than 50 domain-specific classic machine learning accelerators. IBM will use its proprietary "artificial intelligence advisor" toolkit to improve its internal operations and customer service. In addition, the Center of Excellence will leverage IBM Research’s generative AI innovation projects to develop new solutions and assets with customers and partners. Through the IBM Garage for Generative AI, IBM consultants will use proven collaborative methods to help clients fast track innovation in the field of basic models for generative AI.
