Preface
redis has databases 0-16 by default. Generally, when we operate redis, we use database 0, but sometimes our projects want to operate multiple databases at the same time, and we don’t want to access other databases every time. When selecting database data, it is too cumbersome to switch databases.
So we need to configure multiple Jedis Clients, but Jedis is prone to blocking and is not very efficient, so I use Lettuce Client, which is a Reactive connection method and is relatively efficient. But how to use Lettuce Client? In fact, generally we add spring-boot-starter-data-redis dependency and use Redis functions through RedisTemplate. When the version is very high, the default RedisTemplate bottom layer uses Lettuce Client to establish connections and Operation data.
1. Add pom dependencies
<dependency> <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId> <artifactId>spring-boot-starter-data-redis</artifactId> <version>2.0.5.RELEASE</version> </dependency>
2. Configuration of multiple data sources and adding them to the spring container
My screenshot below uses four data sources, namely Library No. 1, 2, 3, and 4.
1) Create a new configuration configuration class
2) new RedisStandaloneConfiguration(host, port); Initialize a Redis configuration, and then select the library number.
3) Initialize a LettuceConnectionFactory.
4) Instantiate a RedisTemplate and set the key value serialization method. Here the key and value are both strings, so the serializer chooses StringRedisSerializer.
5) Set the LettuceConnectionFactory created in the third step to RedisTemplate, and inject it into the spring container with @Bean annotation. When using it, directly search it in the spring container through the method name, and assemble it into the instance that references it.

3. How to use
The reference here is library No. 2, which is loaded into the spring container through @Bean above.
The above is the detailed content of How to configure multiple databases in Redis. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!

Redis's core functions include memory storage and persistence mechanisms. 1) Memory storage provides extremely fast read and write speeds, suitable for high-performance applications. 2) Persistence ensures that data is not lost through RDB and AOF, and the choice is based on application needs.

Redis is a NoSQL database that provides high performance and flexibility. 1) Store data through key-value pairs, suitable for processing large-scale data and high concurrency. 2) Memory storage and single-threaded models ensure fast read and write and atomicity. 3) Use RDB and AOF mechanisms to persist data, supporting high availability and scale-out.

Redis is a memory data structure storage system, mainly used as a database, cache and message broker. Its core features include single-threaded model, I/O multiplexing, persistence mechanism, replication and clustering functions. Redis is commonly used in practical applications for caching, session storage, and message queues. It can significantly improve its performance by selecting the right data structure, using pipelines and transactions, and monitoring and tuning.

The main difference between Redis and SQL databases is that Redis is an in-memory database, suitable for high performance and flexibility requirements; SQL database is a relational database, suitable for complex queries and data consistency requirements. Specifically, 1) Redis provides high-speed data access and caching services, supports multiple data types, suitable for caching and real-time data processing; 2) SQL database manages data through a table structure, supports complex queries and transaction processing, and is suitable for scenarios such as e-commerce and financial systems that require data consistency.

Compared with other databases, Redis has the following unique advantages: 1) extremely fast speed, and read and write operations are usually at the microsecond level; 2) supports rich data structures and operations; 3) flexible usage scenarios such as caches, counters and publish subscriptions. When choosing Redis or other databases, it depends on the specific needs and scenarios. Redis performs well in high-performance and low-latency applications.
