On May 23, the theme exhibition "Yuan Chuang Future - Exploring the World with the Power of the Yuan Universe" and the opening ceremony of Hunan Technology and Business University Science and Technology Festival were held at the Lingnan Campus of the school.

At the opening ceremony, Xiangjiang Laboratory’s Tianxing, Tanlian, quadruped and six-legged robots combined into a dance troupe and performed the opening dance "Technology Goes to the Future". During the exhibition viewing session, teachers and students of Hunan Technology and Business University walked into the Creation Corridor and watched the theme promotional videos of "Song of Xiangjiang Laboratory" and "Yuanchuang Future", as well as interactive videos on visual communication, environmental art, and clothing design. The works in other exhibition areas were interactively experienced.

It is understood that the more than 60 works (groups) participating in this exhibition were selected from the 2023 Graduation Design Works Exhibition of the School of Design and Art, and received technological empowerment from the Metaverse Research Team of Xiangjiang Laboratory. The team uses mixed reality, body motion capture recognition, 3D scene reconstruction and other technologies, assisted by artificial intelligence algorithms, to give the work a richer and more vivid form of expression.
