Windows 11 users experience Wi-Fi connection issues after installing KB5014697

In fact, Microsoft has admitted that a new known issue has appeared in the operating system after installing KB5014697.
KB5014697 causing connectivity issues for some users
In theory, KB5014697 should actually resolve some security vulnerabilities in Windows 11, but it also caused connectivity issues for some users.
Redmond-based technology company Microsoft is currently investigating an issue affecting Windows 11 Wi-Fi hotspot functionality.
After installing KB5014697, Windows devices may not be able to use the Wi-Fi hotspot function. When trying to use the hotspot feature, the host device may lose connection to the Internet after the client device connects.
But don’t worry, as the company is investigating the source of the issue and trying to come up with a solution, it’s also offering a workaround.

#To mitigate the issue and restore Internet access on the host device, make sure to disable the Wi-Fi hotspot functionality.
