Last week Microsoft announced Bug Bash, a campaign designed to engage Windows insiders with tasks to (hopefully) improve Windows 11 development in the long and short term. Initially on March 16, there were around 26 missions to complete, but that has now grown to a staggering 75. But here's the kicker: The Bug Bash will end on March 22, along with the chance to earn Bug Bash-specific stickers that will appear in your Feedback Hub.
To participate in the Windows 11 Bug Bash, you'll need the latest Windows 11 preview build from the Dev channel, build 22572.100, so update before trying Quest. Next, launch the Feedback Center and navigate to the Tasks section. There, you'll find about 75 different tasks that you can perform on your computer. Some of the tasks include testing drag and drop on the taskbar, using quick settings, snapshot layouts, improved Do Not Disturb mode, connecting Bluetooth devices with the updated flyout button, and more.
You can share your feedback and findings with Microsoft after completing a task. The software giant will use your telemetry data to track bugs, instabilities, and other rough surfaces to polish and improve in future updates. Hopefully this will help Microsoft make Windows 11 less buggy and more enjoyable to use.
As mentioned before, people who participate in the Bug Bash will receive a special achievement badge on their profile in the Feedback Hub, so if you want it, you need to do so today.
