Recently, when I was using uniapp to develop a small program, I encountered a strange problem, that is, the video component was misplaced. In the process of investigating and looking for solutions, I combined my own experience and summarized some solutions, hoping to help developers with the same problem.
First, let’s take a look at the specific problem manifestations. In my applet, I display multiple video components on a list page, each component corresponding to a different list item. These components display normally on the simulator, but are misaligned on the actual phone, that is, some videos appear in misaligned positions.
Next, I tried a few solutions.
- Check the stylesheet
First, I checked the stylesheet outside the video component. I found that I set some styles to control the width and height of the video component's parent element, but because the aspect ratio of each video is different, some videos will be misaligned with other components. So I removed those styles and placed them on a container inside the video component so that each video component can automatically adjust its own aspect ratio.
- Adjust the layout method
Secondly, I tried adjusting the layout method of the video component. I used flex layout so that each video component takes up the same space. At the same time, I also set some fixed width and height to ensure that the video components are all in one row. This avoids the problem of misalignment on the mobile phone.
- Use the properties provided by uni-app
Finally, I thought about the solutions that uni-app might provide. I found that in the official documentation of uni-app, it was mentioned that some properties for the video component can allow the video component to be displayed normally on the mobile phone. For example, I can add a controls attribute to let the video component display a control bar, or add an autoplay attribute to let the video component automatically play after loading. The use of these attributes can make the video component more stable and less prone to misalignment.
To sum up, after the above attempts, I successfully solved the problem of video component misalignment. The most critical thing is to check the style sheet and adjust the layout method to adapt the width and height ratio in the inner container. At the same time, I also learned a lot of experience in using uni-app to develop small programs. I hope these experiences can help other developers.
