In the latest update, Microsoft Edge started warning due to one or more ExtensionsMutual conflict, Startup accelerationfunction has been closed. If you are affected by this issue in Edge 97 or later, please do the following.
Microsoft introduced the Startup Boost feature in Edge 88 to improve startup performance.
Startup Speedup, when enabled, runs in the background with minimal processes when you close all its browser windows. This helps to quickly open Microsoft Edge when you launch it from the taskbar or desktop shortcut.
According to Microsoft, function-related processes running in the background do not impact system resources.
You can check if startup enhancements are active by going to edge://settings/system.
If you have updated to Edge 97 and noticed that Startup Boost is grayed out and appears in System and Performance settings The following message appears, then you are not alone.
"Startup acceleration is turned off because the current profile is using one or more conflicting extensions".

As you can see in the screenshot, the extension is Office and Microsoft Editor: Spelling and Grammar Checker.
If you install similar extensions in Edge, you may have problems using them.
