Jamf, Apple’s standard for enterprise management, today announced its new program to help enterprises manage and secure their devices. This new program, Jamf Fundamentals, provides new capabilities to protect small and medium-sized businesses when using Apple products.

Jamf helps companies deploy Apple devices with the technology their businesses need. Its new Fundamentals program helps small and medium-sized businesses manage their Apple ecosystem, making deployment easy and secure.

The company’s security addresses malware prevention, password synchronization, Mac self-service capabilities, custom profiles for macOS packages, and more. Although a new program, Jamf Basics requires no additional training.

What's New in Jamf Basics

• Industry Blueprint, Administrative features such as pre-built admin templates for custom device groups;
• Custom configuration files so users can have unlimited configurations without giving up the simplicity of Jamf Now blueprints;
• Provides macOS packages for applications that are not currently listed in the Mac App Store;
• Mac App Directory, which provides a list of organization-approved Mac App Store and third-party applications for employees;
• Customize app deployment so IT can manage any iPhone or iPad app your team needs;
• Jamf also offers support via chat, email, and phone.

Jamf Fundamentals is now available. It costs $4 per month per device, with up to three free. Additionally, the company offers Jamf Business and Jamf Enterprise plans for growing businesses to manage their Apple devices.
