Apple this week released an update to Boot Camp, its solution for running Windows on Intel-based Macs, to support the newly launched Studio Display.

Apple 更新 Boot Camp 以支持 Studio Display
Boot Camp update 6.1.17, released to the public earlier this week, adds support for Studio Display and updates drivers for AMD and Intel GPUs. To update to the latest Boot Camp drivers, users need to navigate to the Start menu in Windows and open the Apple Software Update app.

When connected to any Windows system, Studio Display's Center Stage, True Tone and Spatial Audio features will be unavailable, as will any features that require a firmware update. The webcam, speakers, and USB-C port will continue to function, but much like the Pro Display XDR, the Studio Display is best suited for macOS.

Macs powered by Apple chips don't officially support Windows and don't have Boot Camp functionality like on Intel Macs, which means the update will only work for those who bought a new Studio Display but have an older, non-Apple device. A few users benefit from silicon-based systems with a Boot Camp setup. Microsoft has refused to offer a Windows 11 version of Apple's Arm-based M1 series of Macs, possibly due to its exclusive deal with Qualcomm.
